Zena El-Sayadi of Xena Wellness. Qualified, accredited Naturopath, Western Herbalist, Nutritionist, Wellness Coach. And a member of ANTA (Australian Natural Therapists Association), ANRANT (Australian National Register of Accredited Natural Therapists) and CMPAC (Complementary Medicine Practitioner Associations Council).
Zenah grew up in a Lebanese Australian home, where food is the focus of everything. She battled with Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia at 15 years of age and did not understand what was happening, physically and mentally. Luckily her mum had taken her to see the doctor and was given iron supplementation. She still was not informed on what her disorder was and never did due to lack of support and education.
Zenah embarked on her health and fitness journey in her early 30's. She had joined the gym and decided to learn more about food, health and wellness which led her to fall in love with Naturopathy. For her, Naturopathy is holistic health, where mind, body and soul is connected as a whole. She loves the fact that Naturopathy is a system of using alternative medicine based on the theory that diseases can be successfully maintained or prevented without using drugs, rather using techniques such as control of diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
"Education and guidance is a key part of my practice. I can help with acute and chronic conditions of any age and gender. I use other modalities in my practice such as the use of Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Medicine, Flower Essences, dietary and lifestyle advice, Nutritional supplementation, and iris analysis." - Zenah
